An aluzinc coated coil is a type of steel coil that is coated with a layer of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon by weight. This coating is formed by a continuous hot-dip galvanizing process, which increases the corrosion resistance of the steel under the action of zinc and aluminum. The corrosion resistance of aluzinc coated coil is about 2 - 4 times higher than that of galvanized steel coil. It is also known as Zincalume or Galvalume.
